About Me

I am an engineer and a lifelong musician since the age of four with a passion for brain-computer interfacing, machine learning technologies, and creating immersive user experiences. I am a tinkerer and critical thinker with an analytical mind – approaching problems from a first principles perspective, and continuously seeking intuitive and creative solutions to achieve effective and exceptional results. I find fulfillment in hard work and enjoy tackling complex tasks.

I am currently a Senior at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Bioinstrumentation and Machine Learning for Brain-Computer Interfacing, Medical Devices, and Robotics applications.

Education

University of Texas at Austin

Engineering

Background

Bridging two dynamic fields, my engineering journey is grounded in both biomedical innovation and software development.

Core Competencies

  • Hands-on experience with Java, C, and Python.
  • Practical skills in backend development and user interface design.

Professional Highlights

  • Electronics Lead at Texas Inventionworks, focusing on practical application of theoretical knowledge.
  • Research Assistant at Santacruz Lab, involved in innovative brain-computer interfacing projects.

Music

I have organized, led, and performed on various personal and school-wide music projects including a charity album that raised $45,000+ to buy a food truck for Leket Israel, two graduation concerts, four grade-wide music performances, four years of The Frisch School Jazz Band Performances, four Battle of the Bands performances, and, from the ages of 10 through 18, I performed lead keyboard and vocals in 9 charity benefit concerts through the Ben Hyman Annual Benefit Concert series raising $30,000+ annually a numerous charity organizations. My music production work can be found on my SoundCloud channel and future works can be found on Spotify shortly.

Computer Science

The majority of my computer science experience is in Object-Oriented Programming with 5+ years of experience in Java Programming (including JavaFX, Java Swing, and JUnit5 testing) and proficiency in C Programming (utilizing Linux, VIM, GCC compiler, X86 Assembly, ARM, and GDB debugger). I have a deep understanding of data structure algorithms including Linked Lists, Array Lists, Queues, Stacks, Hash Tables, Binary Trees,  Binary Search Trees, Red Black Trees, AVL Trees, Heaps, and Graph Theory. I have 2 years of experience working in Python utilizing Tensorflow libraries for Machine Learning applications and libraries such as pandas and numpy for Big Data Analysis.
